Credits & service balance
OrdiFi Credits are planned as a utility layer for paying platform services and later agent-based actions inside the OrdiFi environment.
Token supply
OrdiFi Credits exist as a fixed-supply Rune token with 21,000,000 total units, no additional minting and no decimal subdivision.
Wallet credits
Wallet credits are Credits held directly by the user in their Bitcoin wallet. This represents actual on-chain ownership of the Rune token.
Service balance
To use Credits for OrdiFi services without requiring a Rune transfer for every action, users may transfer Credits from their wallet to an OrdiFi service address.
After the transfer is confirmed, the user's internal service balance can be credited inside the OrdiFi interface.
Two balance layers
The OrdiFi wallet interface may show two Credit balances:
- Wallet balance — Credits held directly in the user's wallet.
- Service balance — Credits available for OrdiFi services.
Service usage
Service balance may be used for OrdiFi platform actions such as minting, composer operations, export services, workspace tools and future agent actions.
Bitcoin transaction fees are still paid in BTC where on-chain transactions are required.
Agent utility
In future workspace flows, Credits may also be used by user-authorized agents to pay for approved services and actions inside the OrdiFi environment.
Current status
Credits and service balance integration are planned features and are not required for the first case, Composer, Viewer or Verify workflows.
